Week 7

Picks in Bold, Top Plays with ***

SAN DIEGO -5 @ kansas city
Chief's are 5-13 ATS at home since 2007.

***INDIANAPOLIS -13.5 @ st. louis
Peyton Manning is 26-18 ATS as a road favorite since 2002.

***GREEN BAY -7 @ cleveland
Brown's have the flu, lost leading tackler, and returner, Josh Cribbs, has been battling a knee injury.

minnesota -4 @ PITTSBURGH
Pittsburgh is 25-11 ATS in October since 2000 and 11-6 at home.

***NEW ENGLAND -15 @ tampa bay
6.5 or more favorites are 33-8 going into a bye, including Bill Belichick's record of 2-0.

san francisco @ ***HOUSTON -3
Houston has been hot and cold this year, alternating wins and losses straight up and against the spread through the first 6 weeks. This will be the week that they win 2 in a row for the first time.

NY JETS -6.5 @ oakland
Raiders are a horrendous 12-29 ATS in their last 42 games played there. Playing in Oakland shouldn't be very intimidating for Sanchez.

buffalo @ CAROLINA -7
Jake Delhomme is 19-11 ATS coming off back-to-back wins.
Result: Never trust Jake Delhomme

CHICAGO @ cincinnati -1.5
Chicago coach, Lovie Smith, is 6-3 ATS in the 2nd of consecutive road games. This includes 3-0 when following a loss.
Result: The Chicago defense really struggled and set themselves up for disaster this season by providing a blueprint for teams to exploit their weaknesses.

new orleans -7 @ MIAMI
Saints are facing a sandwich game here in which they just finished playing the undefeated Giants in week 6 and then have a divisional foe in Atlanta to look forward to next week. Bring on the Wildcat!
Result: The wildcat worked for only so long as Chad Henne threw two interceptions for touchdowns that ultimately allowed the Saints to cover this spread.

***ATLANTA @ dallas -3
Dallas is a overrated team and is only favored here because of the public view on this team. Expect Atlanta to win straight up in this Game.
Result: Tony Romo and the Cowboys proved a lot this week. I wonder how much the bye week helped them prepare for this game and if was a fluke or not.

arizona @ NY GIANTS -7
Eli Manning is 14-6 ATS after a loss since 2005. He is 6-1 following a double digit loss
The two superbowl participants from a year ago both proved they are still teams to beat this year, with the Steelers defeating the Vikes and the Cardinals defeating the now struggling Giants.

PHILADELPHIA -7 @ washington
Philadelphia coach, Andy Reid, is 6-2 ATS in the 2nd of consecutive road games. He is also 14-10 ATS following a loss as a favorite.

Teaser Pick
•Green Bay -1
The Browns had 12 guys miss practice this week due to flu symptoms, and they lost their leading tackler, D'Qwell Jackson, for the season due to a shoulder injury. The Packers only potential problem here is looking ahead to the showdown in titledown as Favre comes to Green Bay next sunday. Even so, the Packers should not lose this one.

•NY Giants -1
Look for the Giants to get their feet back under them this week after that embarrasing loss to the Saints last week. Arizona's pass rush has looked good, but look for that to be a non-factor as the Giants have a great O-line. A weakness to the deep ball that the Giants showed last week against the Saints should not be as vulnerable this week. Kurt Warner is still only throwing short passes (only 1 completion over 22 yards) since his shoulder surgery, so expect the Giants to be fine this week.
